How do I contact SAAS?

You can contact us via our website or by phone, post, fax or in person. You can help us if you can give us your reference number when you contact us. You will be given your reference number when you submit your online application and it is also on the award notice we send you.

Change in circumstances

If you have a change in any of the following circumstances you should tell us immediately through your personalised online services.

  • change of bank details
  • new address
  • change of course or institution
  • new email address or telephone number

You should login using the username and password you used when you first registered and select the option 'Maintain my details and profile' from the list of options you are presented with.

Forgotten Login Details for your online account?

If you have forgotten your login details for your online account you can request a new password or a reminder of your username to be emailed to you.  Please access the Forgotten Password and Forgotten Username Services from the Login page.

Email

For enquiries by email, we have designed an interactive application that will help us to deal with your enquiry as quickly and accurately as possible.

This is a two stage process. Firstly you will select the subject of your enquiry from a list and secondly you will complete a simple form giving us the information we require to process your enquiry.

Third Parties seeking information on behalf of students

Third parties (for example, parents, spouses and student advisers etc.) on occasion, contact SAAS to ask for information about funding on behalf of a student. If questions from third parties are of a general nature about the provisions of student support there is no problem in discussing these matters.

However, if the third party wishes to discuss a particular student’s circumstances such as details of student funding, loans, settled/asylum status or debt recovery we are unable to provide this information unless the student has provided written consent (by completing and returning this form or writing a letter to SAAS to give their consent to allow us to share their personal information with another individual).
