Applying for 2010 - 2011
The information on this page applies to both first time and continuing students.
You will be able to apply online for courses that start/resume in Autumn 2010 from the end of April. You should check the news section of our website for further updates.
What you need to do
- If you are a continuing student, you must apply for your support, including tuition fees, in each year of your course.
- If you are applying to us for the first time, apply as soon as you know what course you want to do. Do not wait for exam results or a firm offer.
- Apply before the end of June 2010 to ensure you get your money at the start of your first term.
- Read your online application as you go through it. There is help available by clicking on the help icon on each page.
- Please give us all the information we ask for - if you do not complete your application correctly or we are missing information, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your funding in time for the start of your course.
- If you are applying for income assessed support, for example a bursary or the maximum loan, please make sure you send us all the relevant income documentation. You must do this immediately after you submit your online application.
- Send us a clear photocopy of any documents we ask for. Do not send us original documents as we cannot guarantee their safe return. We destroy all documents after 30 days.
- If we receive your application after the 30 June 2010 there may be a delay with your payments. If we receive your application after the final closing date, which for most courses will be 31 March 2011 you will not receive any financial support, including tuition fees.
